Are you looking for a funny and useful mom blog?

Good, you came to the right place!Hi, my name is Chantal Sarkisian and I am a new mom who had a sweet baby boy named Victor in Feb 2013. Join me on this blog to follow my new mommy journey while I am on my maternity leave. I'll ramble quickly about all the random thoughts that go through my head when I am feeding in the middle of the night, or trying to put my son to sleep. I'll also blog about my favourite things, give you helpful tools, and explore activities to do (mostly in the Ottawa region) with kids and maybe some product reviews too! Thanks for reading!

Baby proofing the house

Hello mommas!
I know it's been a while, but V is growing up too fast and I can't keep up!

I thought I could just keep saying "No Victor, don't touch…", but let's face it, that doesn't last too long.
So the wine rack is now stored in the entrance closet and the larger furniture protects the danger zones.

Tonight, I begged my husband to lock up the cabinet doors, because cooking in the kitchen has become a nightmare! Victor is getting into everything!! He particularly likes to play "Stacking" with my pyrex Tupperware…not a safe idea.

Have a look at my mini blog post on baby proofing. Successful or not? you be the judge!

Bye for now,

xox Chantsy

  1. Yeah, you can’t just say “no” to him all the time. It’s better not to give him something to pull out or choke on, rather than stop what you’re doing just to take away something from him from time to time. I can’t say yet if your babyproofing is a success, but locking up cabinet doors is usually not enough. You’ve got to watch out those outlets too. Anyway, thanks for sharing your babyproofing story. Have a great day!
